Basic Scenery - Foam
You can click on any picture for a larger version.

Insulation foam board can be purchased at most any lumber yard or home service center.  It comes in blue or pink, is light weight, and easy to work with.  The pictures below step through the process of cutting and gluing the foam.  Be sure to use Latex Liquid Nails as the regular Liquid Nails will attack and destroy the foam.

Carefully cut the foam.  You can use a saw or a sharp steak knife.

Apply Latex Liquid Nails to all surfaces
that the piece of foam will touch.
Be sure to use Latex Liquid Nails!  The regular Liquid Nails
will attack and destroy the foam.  The Latex version is often
labeled 'for Projects' or 'Foamboard.'

Carefully place the foamboard.  You have plenty of working time before the Latex Liquid Nails
sets (a few hours).
